Blue Shoe Marketing is firmly committed to protecting and healing
our environment, and with us, it’s no new fad. We have a proven
track record of successful campaigns with green companies, communities,
and initiatives that predates the recent popularity of the green
movement.
Austin, as a city, is progressive and open-minded when it comes
to environmentally friendly initiatives. As a result, people, companies,
and developers who are interested in preserving the health of our
planet began flocking here years before the green movement graced
the cover of every magazine.
Blue Shoe Marketing’s substantial knowledge base and thorough
understanding of the market, measurement, and technology behind green
living gives our clients a huge leg up on the competition. We effectively
bridge the gap between the science and the consumer, conveying the
important facts in language the average consumer can relate and respond
to.
To further our commitment, Blue Shoe Marketing works with ‘green’ partners
to deliver final products with as little negative impact on the environment
as possible. We utilize
recycled paper with substantial post-consumer recycled content [preferring papers certified by
the Forest Stewardship Council]; we seek out manufacturers and vendors who have embraced
renewable energy; we are continually re-educated on the Green Building policies of Austin Energy,
and are ourselves members of the U.S. Green Building Council; we use PDF proofing instead of paper whenever possible and - as consumers - we practice recycling and reduction inside our
office and our homes.
Earlier this summer, Blue Shoe principal Vera Fischer spoke about Sustainability at the national Paper Recycling Conference in Chicago, June 22-24. Check out the press coverage here.
In addition, Blue Shoe Marketing was a proud sponsor of this year's Green West Expo in Los Angeles. Check out the Virtual Booth used for the conference!
From using recycled paper and local vendors to promoting the Progess
Cycling Team, we bring green thinking full circle. |
